I purchased a calling card on May 15, 2016 for $22 to have it just in case I want to call someone in Europe. It has a validity of 365 days.

I have not used it at all, yet on November 19, 2016 when I tried to use it there was 0 (zero) on the balance. I called customer service and they informed me that they charge 90 cents a week for "maintenance".

Further, I placed a credit card information on their account which I tried to erase now that I know whom I am dealing with. Guess what, I cannot erase the card information.

So I will cancel the card. You draw your own conclusion.

Very Satisfied customer of 17years!

I just feel I should say something in defence of Nobelcom. I have been a customer of theirs since the 1990's. I have ALWAYS found them extremely efficient and very kind. Their staff have enormous patience...anyone dealing with me would need too! Please give them a chance to please you!... if there's a problem THEY'LL fix it. They do not take advantage of their customers, on the contrary they bend over backwards to please everyone. I am just one of many people who feel the same way.. I know because I've introduced many to them...Why? Because the service is second to none, very reasonable and above all, they genuinely want to help....not too many Companies can say that, that's why I'm pleased to use their services and because I TRUST THEM!! God Bless them and ALL who are looking for the best service...this is IT.!!! .

My family and I used Nobel.com services for over 2 years communicating with a family member in West Africa. The service started out clunky and dysfunctional, even using their app for iPhone. Call quality was poor and dropped calls frequent. Then the iPhone app stopped working and Customer Service told us to dial access codes, passwords and PINs manually. When the automatic payment reload stopped working properly, they suggested buying larger lots of minutes to reduce the frequency of dropped calls due to failure of their reload bug. Now that we are done using the service, they won't even refund $20 for unused services. I am not asking for a refund for the inferior services provided, just for the unused services

Nobels nefarious business practices

Nobel is awful and as one other customer noted with the same problem, I tried MANY, MANY times to reach a number only to have recorded messages tell me in essence, that the number was not in service. Another time, I apparently reached a company and was disconnected. Customer service, while polite, was unable to resolve the issue, even though they averred that the number was working. Apparently, customer service was the only one able to magically do this. As well, their local access numbers keep changing all the time. Something very fishy. It's like "bowling for dollars." By the way, on my cell phone, the number went through. I was using my landline for the Nobel call. NYC to Los Angeles, a no brainer. Now the fight will be to get a refund. I don't know if the FCC is the appropriate agency to report them to but I will do it. This company needs a legal drubbing.

I am so mad. First rates went from 13¢ a min to 34.9¢ a min for micronesia. I decided to stay since I've been their customer for four years, a price increase didnt bother me. $20 was worth 56 min! Please tell me why $40 is worth the same amount of minutes? I shouldve gotten twice that amoun but only ended up with an hour and 12 min.

Exactly! I've had my account with them for almost a year now.

I usually check the rates before I purchase the phone card and sometimes right after I make a purchase rates go up. It would say I have 56 minutes but really it would start giving me "balance low" warning at 33 minutes in. It's been like this for awhile so I end up here.

I'm done with this. It's a scam!!

I've been a customer with Nobelcom for over 10 years and I know they take minutes here and there and well I'm one of those loyal customers who will stick around well beyond BUT I'm done I will NOT be using Nobelcom nor will I recommend (the rewards for doing this are non existent because I referr 3 people and never got one minute!). If you use them buyer beware! You have been warned. If you must use them, use your minutes in one call otherwise you will have nothing the next time you attempt. I could go on and on. In a nutshell, it is a waste of money and time trying to use this company. There are better ones out there.

Stay away from NobelCom if you can

NobelCom is the master of ripping-off customers. You can never keep track of the minutes you purchased from them, because their system will just cheat on the minutes not to mention the sound quality was not steady at all. In addition, the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. When I made a complain about the sound quality, they said they would make a report. Then, I asked how about the minutes I wasted. They said nothing they could do. Just like that! Long story short, they cheat and lie. I learned my lessons well, and hopefully, whoever reads this will never get ripped off the way they did to me.

They have MASTERED the art of Thievery....

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I just wasted an hour of my precious time with some of the most well TRAINED story makers/ liers based overseas.

They have re-written the rules on scamming consumers without blinking an eye....

Long story, not worth repeating it.

They will LURE you on and then you are done.

Your credits get depleted faster than you can keep track.

If you are SO SO tempted like I was (and regret it), JUST BUY the lowest $ amount then wait and see.

There are a number of other HONEST vendors out there!

When and if you get taken by them, do help others by filing complaints with FCC, attorney general. At least once the word spreads, less people get taken! oh well.....

Nobel One Phone cars is a SCAM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I used the Nobel One calling card last month to make international calls. I followed all the steps in the back of the Nobel One card.

Verizon ended up charging me their regular international rates on my bill for these calls. Verizon said I never used a phone card to make these calls, but I did. Nobel One makes up stories that I "conferenced" the international # I dial in. This is not true, this is a scam!

The international # I dialed doesn't even appear on my phone log, only the local calling # appears on my phone log. Now I'm stuck with the bill from Verizon!

I had the same problem but with different provider . I was using Noble one card and my provider charged me for the phone call to Europe .

It's the provider that did the scam not Noble One .

Noble One is a good card not a scam . My provider didn't charge me for that phone call after long argument with them .

Completely agree, this company is a sham. I will never advice even my worst enemy to ever use this service. DO NOT EVER USE THIS CALL CARD, IT WILL BE THE WORST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE

Guest

These scam Nobel One messages we received in our email saying that thank you for recharging $11.00 to this phone number and blahh blahh blahh. We don't even know that phone number.

And our phone bills was high.

What a Scam! Someday they will face judgment and pay for their deeds in front of our Supreme God.

When you are using cell phone, it is IMPORTANT that users DO NOT PRESS ‘SEND’ or ‘TALK’ buttons after entering the destination number. This precaution will help you avoid being billed for international calls unintentionally. :)

Nobelcom - Cell Phone Minutes Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Please stay away from this company. Im so pissed off. Yesterday I charge $21 calling card to call Liberia, was told I had 100 minutes with no connection charge. I called spoke with my family for 40 minutes; I called back and was told I had $2.10. I called customer service spoke with LISA who told me I only have 9 minutes left and they can't give me my minutes back but if I recharge they will give me $4.00 off. So I ask her to speak with a manager, and she told me no one is there. I said well I want to file a compliant what is your corporate address, she said email is better help@***.com, I wasn't satisfied and I said I need to get your manager contact info, she than said well u can fax your complaint to 760683****, so I ask her for the name of the manager to put on the cover of the fax, she said "I'm sorry but we cannot give out our manager name." I said to her they are scamming people how can a company not have an address or a p.o. Box? What about a manager name? I plan on making sure their name is all over the internet. STAY AWAY FROM THEM..
